I am an application security practitioner and technology leader with 15+ years of experience across secure software development, regulated gaming, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud operations, and production engineering.

I am an OffSec Web Expert with demonstrated ability to perform advanced source code review, identify exploitable vulnerabilities, develop custom exploit scripts, chain complex web attacks, and assist development teams in building secure-by-design applications. My hands-on background spans OWASP Top 10 testing and remediation, threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, secure SDLC, DevSecOps automation, cloud security, SIEM engineering, and full-stack development.

At Highland Consulting, I lead application security, cybersecurity, secure software development, infrastructure, and technical operations across regulated gaming, cloud systems, distributed field environments, and internally developed applications. I have built market-specific gaming platforms, cloud-connected telemetry and accounting systems, and security operations tooling for distributed environments.

I hold OSWE, OSCP+, OSWP, and eJPT certifications, along with a Commercial Pilot License from the FAA. I work across software, hardware, cloud, networking, operations, and compliance—if a tool, language, platform, or process helps move the business forward, I learn it and use it.

Before moving into technology, I trained in culinary arts at Texas State Technical College in Waco and worked as a sous chef at Hotel Indigo and the Baylor Club, where I led high-volume kitchen operations, private events, and teams of up to 30 staff.

Beyond work, I enjoy flying, love hiking with my wife and dogs, and travel when I can—especially to Italy.
